Guidelines Do Not Deter Attackers - Deutsche Telekom CSO warns of AI-accelerated cyberattacks
Thomas Tschersich is Global Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Deutsche Telekom and CEO of Telekom Security. In addition to cyber security, he is responsible for the Group's cyber security and operational security issues. He is also Chairman of the Board of "Deutschland sicher im Netz" and a member of the Cybersecurity Council. In an interview with GIT SICHERHEIT, Thomas Tschersich talks about the current challenges of his work and how 2,500 experts successfully fend off 76 million attacks every day. We also asked Dr. Tschersich about "OnNet", a service that automatically integrates security into the network - and about the dangers of AI-supported adversaries that exploit vulnerabilities in seconds.
